This is a terrible oversight, or just laziness in design, particularly if they’ve known about it for years and other manufacturers aren’t dealing w it. I don’t have many gripes with my FE other than this and a few small things. This is aggravating though and should be tended to asap.

Mine was at the rail yard here in MN and then held for QC. It was released and then my salesperson called to say the arrival date was within a week. That was three weeks ago. This shouldn’t be held up anywhere at this point. Should have been on the truck making the 100 mile journey weeks ago!

Similar thing going on w me. Had arrive as 7/9-7-12. The each day it would be pushed out a day all the way up until today, 7/24. I looked today on the website and now it shows 8/24 😭 Dealer knows nothing. So frustrated.

Anyone in Minnesota had one released from QC purgatory? My dealer said it made it to the rail yard in MN and then was put on hold. I haven’t seen one around here.

Agreed. I posted this in the deliveries thread and was shot down; people said it was 100% sunroof issue.

Hate to say it but mine, FE, cleared customs, took the train to MN and is now stuck at the shipyard here for QC.

I totally agree w you, and do not support the Mazda guidance, particularly if you are weighing it against an X3. I say that having test drove the Mazda and now own an X3 M40. World of difference. With that said, I have a LC FE with my name on :)
