Late May? I’m curious as to what is the hold up at this point. I’ve been told to expect mine 5/3-5/12. I’m wondering if I’ll end up having to wait until late May or even June since the FE you were going to buy came in first it only makes sense it goes out first. Sounds like a fun trip! Enjoy
I have a Trail Dust LC on the way. My second choice was Heritage Blue. Went with Trail Dust cause I already have a blue vehicle and wanted something different.
It’s unfortunate they couldn’t deliver. I was looking forward to your review. I just heard about mine today. I should have it sometime next week. Safe travels!
His phone is broken…? 🤦🏻♂️ I’m hoping mine delivers sometime this month. If not I might just end up getting a GX550 or stepping it up to a LX600 at this point.
If I had to guess Century Highway Green is headed to Benicia. But there was a recent port call in Portland and Canada so it might be headed back. I’m wondering if they’re shipping LCs to Canada without saying much…? 🧐
JUST GOT AN UPDATE FROM MY DEALERSHIP!
Sales Manager said the hold up is the skid plates! The supplier is having issues meeting demand. He said they do not have an ETA and Toyota isn’t allowing the delivery of FEs to the dealerships without the skid plates. It may be a week or a few more weeks...
Welcome! Don’t quote me on this but the only ship that left the Tahara region headed towards the US yesterday was “Cetus Leader.” It’s due to arrive in Benicia on 4/21. Depending on how long it’s at port in Benicia, it usually takes about 1 day for it to reach the port of Long Beach. It might...
I seen a black FE pop up on Hanlee’s inventory when looking at Toyota.com (was looking in hopes mine would pop up) not sure if it’s yours though. I’m waiting on processing as well.
Must be waiting on the parts @daspyknows mentioned before. The Benicia port has rail going into the port so I wouldn’t think it would take long to load it on a train unless they were waiting for something.
As of right now, it appears ships outbound towards the US from the Tahara region have slowed. I’m assuming they’re waiting on the ships to return. Your dealership should have a departure date they can provide you. Once you have the date we can possibly pinpoint the vessel. But doing so right now...
Hello,
Do you know if the VIN provided is a temporary VIN or permanent VIN? Temporary VINs have letters in the last 6 digits. Permanent VINs are all numbers in the last 6 digits. If it’s a temp VIN your 1958 is still in the build phase. If it’s a permanent VIN that means it’s been built and...
I’m wondering if I’ll have to wait for mine as well. The ship my FE is on is pulling into port soon. The dealership called today to let me know it would be arriving at port. They also stated they’d be calling me tomorrow with estimated dealership delivery time.
Exciting! Keep us posted! I just heard from the dealership this morning about mine. Still 7 days from arriving at port. Confirming I was correct in thinking it would be on the vessel “Sakura Leader.”
I seen a ship on the way to Tacoma, Washington a few days ago can’t remember the vessel name though. I believe SoCal will arrive through Long Beach. NorCal arrives through Benicia, CA according to the guy at the dealership. There’s also a ship on its way to Portland, OR. I got an update from the...
