Ditto. I test drove both and bought the 58 (This was 6-8 weeks ago). I like most of the refinement in the GX, but if I realIy like the LC (and I do, so far) plan on giving the 58 to my Son next year and buying either an '25 FE or a '26 4Runner.
My wife has a highlander with all this stuff. I came from a Grand Cherokee Overland Diesel with some of this stuff. I never cared for the LDA, LTA, and other stuff on the highlander, because 99% of my driving was the jeep. But now that I have a LC, it took a couple of thousand miles and 4...
I've had my 58 for 2,700 miles now/6 weeks and combined City/Highway I am getting 19.1.
For pure highway driving tests, I have taken 6 trips for 225 nonstop HWY miles, fill-up to fill-up at exit ramp stations. Newest to Oldest display readings - On 4 of them, I have had 20.7MPG and 20.8 MPG...
I was running the shopvac on mine last weekend and noticed the LC engine started and stopped several times while cleaning our cars. It was hard to tell how many times, as the shopvac was pretty loud.

Here's my take after 500 miles on my new LC58. FWIW, I came from a Jeep GC Overland Eco-Diesel with 140,000 miles. I loved it dearly, but too many things were going on it and required extensive shop time for parts (up to 5 weeks in some cases). I really wanted another Overland, but there's...
Thank you for posting this. I didn't see this asked, but what weight oil were you using - Are there new specs? I'm Coming from an Eco-Diesel with quite stringent Oil Specs and will be doing my first change later this summer.
I picked up a 1958 last week. 3rd one the dealer had. White - exactly like the one in your photo. I came from a Jeep GC Overland Diesel with 140K miles and tons of amenities. It will take me a while to get used to the sparseness of the 1958 interior, but I plan to break my own rules and only...
Pick up my Base 58 White tomorrow. I could have ordered the next trim level Land Cruiser with Premium Package, but didn't really want to wait until October timeframe. It has really everything I lie (for now)
