87 to 93 is about $1.20 difference where I live, so that 20k mile a year is actually a little over $1,000 a year difference or about $10,500 over 200k miles. And that's with gas prices under somewhat control right now. Trust me if it was only $30 more a month this wouldnt even be a...
Im starting to think it will, since it has the same power figures as the LC. If it made a little less then I would say its tuned for regular gas but that seems highly unlikely now. I have a feeling they will now keep the lower models without the hybrid system on regular and all the upper trims...
I've got a 22 RS3, I don't need premium for my daily. Its a personal financial decision I'm making since I usually keep my daily's for 150-200k miles. All that extra cost in fuel adds up over time. No one expected Toyota to REQUIRE premium on 4runners and Tacoma's. Lexus sure. So im not...
I noticed that. It also has the same exact horsepower and torque which makes me pretty sure it's gonna be premium only. But I'll wait and see. We will know for sure when we know what the tacoma is. Only reason I'm thinking it might possibly be regular is because the iforcemax on the tundra takes...
VP makes one that goes up to 5 points, so will take you from reg to premium, and you just use two bottles instead of one, or whatever the package says. Short term use only
They make fuel additive octane boosters that you can add to regular fuel to get it closer to 91-93 octane. So probably best to keep one of those little bottles in the car for emergencies.
No we are talking about premium in the GX550, not the land cruiser. Land Cruiser confirmed regular gas and now seems the Lexus is confirmed for premium only. So not only do you factor in worse mpgs on the Lexus, but now also premium vs regular. This pretty much concludes my decision to stick...
I think its required, someone posted a photo inside the fuel cover and it said "premium fuel required". If it ends up taking regular, that may push me from the LC to the GX
Can someone verify? The new video Toyota posted a few hours ago on youtube shows a blurry clip of the screen when they go through water and the bottom part looks like it might show you the depth of water you're in! That would be awesome! Heres the video and a screenshot i took from the...
Not to mention the JBL system over the standard 10 speaker lexus system, and a few other missing items from the Lexus, so if you account for everything its a bigger gap then 3k. Plus for me personally, I want the hybrid system and regular gas. I drive a ton and this was one of the main things...
I believe they left them there because the 3 row LC is available in most other markets internationally and it was probably cheaper/more cost effective and minimizes assembly complexity to leave them all the same. Plus they can be used if tailgating out the back. I don't think it hints that...
