My LCLC gets the overhead and surround view on its 12.3" display without going into MTS mode. Just hit the "view" button and, voila, those views are displayed.
If I hit the MTS button and then the "View" button, I get the MTM view.
I don't have a digital rearview mirror. My wife's RAV4 does...
Body Side Moldings - I just called Groove Toyota here in the Denver area. The parts guy checked with Toyota to see if their BSMs in "Platinum White (0089)" matches my LCLC paint, which is "Wind Chill Pearl (EB20)." Toyota confirmed that it is an exact match. Noone seems to know why they call it...
I'm in the market for body side moldings ("BSMs") for my white LCLC. I called two local Toyota dealers yesterday and my color, "Wind Chill Pearl/EB20," wasn't even listed in the parts catalogue.
So first, I'm wondering if anyone has gotten a Wind Chill Pearl LC with color-matched BSMs? At...
No packages at all, just a few add-ons (carpet cargo mat, cross bars, illuminated door sills and quick charge cables). I'd be interested if all LCLCs have panoramic view capability.
Now, about those power folding rearview mirrors . . .
My non-FE LC does have a Panoramic View Monitor. Two different views, one an eye-level view and the other an overhead view.
And BTW, does the FE come with power folding outside mirrors? I didn't see it on the chart (but my reading glasses aren't at hand so I might have missed it).
Good idea for a thread. I'm also interested in adding some accessories to my LCLC. These include color-matched body side moldings, some kind of organizer for the awkward glove box and center console as well as floor liners (with raised sideboards) for the front seat area and cargo area.
It'll...
Lenny33 and Proj626, I should have asked, how do you plan on using your LC? Daily commuting with the occasional mountian expedition, hunting, fishing, sightseeing? I'm retired and mainly just like to go to out-of-the-way fishing spots but I still like to do the occasional "pass bagging." I get a...
Hey Lenny33, I should pose the same question to you as I did to Poj626. Are you seeing any LCs out there? In two weeks of nearly daily driving, I haven't seen any.
Hey Proj626, good to hear from you. Hope you're enjoying yours as much as I am.
I'm curious. Have you seen any other LCs on the road? I have not and, when people come up ask about my LC, they always say mine is the first one they've seen.
We've had the same guy put PPF on our cars for many years. He comes to our house and does it in our garage in about half a day.
He used to use 3M PPF but has been using Xpel (not sure of the spelling) PPF for over 10 years now. We haven't had any problems with it cracking, yellowing, peeling...
I disagree with how "thorough" the explanation is. That said, I will admit that with your help, I did find what I was looking for. You have to press the "MTS" button before you select "View." If you do it out of order, you don't get any view.
Thanks for the help.
I've heard about the Multi Terrain Monitor (MTM) screen but haven't been able to find it on my LC. I'm talking about the front, side and under-chassis views that are there for rock-crawling and such (not that I plan to do much of that).
I have the mid-level LC trim and, according to the Toyota...
No need to respond. Costco carries CoverKing so I ordered it from them online. Just $34.99 plus tax and free delivery. (Expected delivery is next week.)
Yep, I'm in the marketplace too. The Colorado sun is brutal and my car spends a lot of time in the sun. It would be great if sun shade companies like Heatshield and WeatherTech listed the dimensions of their sun shades. Then we could decide for ourselves whether the sunshade for (e.g.) an...
Great article Jambo. Yep, premium gas has no more energy than regular. Higher octane numbers just means that the combustion process of the air/fuel mixture takes place a little slower (we're talking fractions of a second). Slowing down combustion is necessary in high compression engines in order...
I gas up at Costco and use premium, which is what Toyota recommends. It's about 25% more expensive than regular but makes sense for an engine equipped with a turbo.
Hey Utahguy, that sure looks like my LC but I got it at Stevenson Toyota East, not Mountain States Toyota.
Ginabrockinton, no I paid MSRP plus $699 for the BS dealer's paperwork fee. Oh well, that's a small hit to the wallet.
The LC did great driving in the mountains today. Went up into the...
I have a carpet cargo mat, still in its original celophane, that I want to get rid of. Cross bars too. They came with the car. (I'm waiting on Weathertech to come out with floor liners and I don't need cross bars.) Let me know where you are so I can estimate shipping. Then we'll talk about...
Hello all, my name is Larry and I bought a '24 Land Cruiser (Land Cruiser trim) a little over a week ago.
Funny story. A local dealer had 3 on the lot so my wife and I decided to go on a "cheap date," where looking at cars was the entertainment. The black/black 1958 was too black, the Meteor...
