    Lift & leveling kit options

This is the response I got back from Westcott today.

    Tire Upgrade ?

Not exactly what you're looking for, but would be 9mm more poke than the wheels on this white one. https://www.landcruiserforum.com/threads/wheel-upgrades.549/

    Lift & leveling kit options

For those interested, I found this article which has an overview of the 3 different options. Pretty good write up actually, and I learned quite a bit. https://accutuneoffroad.com/spacer-lift-vs-preload-spacer-vs-coilover-preload/ Looking at Westcott, most of their Toyota kits are the pre-load...

    Lift & leveling kit options

Both of these are strut spacer lifts which attach to the top of the strut and don’t affect the overall amount of travel or spring rates. There are also other coil spacer collars which will affect the amount of travel, which affects the ride. From what I can tell both of these companies seem...

    Lift & leveling kit options

Ready Lift has a similar kit, and they list some tire size options for the Tacoma...which may be similar to what will fit on the LC. Note: They say sizes are based on Nitto tires.

    Lift & leveling kit options

Toytec now has a 1.5" leveling kit listed for the 2024 LC/Tacoma. They're based in Denver, and they quoted me $430 for install + $150 alignment which doesn't seem too bad. They didn't seem to have much info on tire size fitments yet, which wasn't too surprising. Edit: It seems like this strut...

Defeat the attention and other babysitters?!

Looks like most things can be disabled from within the car's settings. https://www.manua.ls/toyota/land-cruiser-2024/manual?p=662

    Tire Upgrade ?

The weight difference will mostly be due to LT vs non-LT tires. LT will usually be 10-ply with deeper tread, stiffer sidewalls, and will have a noticeably firmer ride. https://www.discounttire.com/learn/passenger-vs-light-truck

Ceramic coating , and paint protection

New car paint is rarely ever perfect. You should always have a correction done before ceramic or PPF.

    Performance?

The OP made it pretty clear what this thread is about. Please stop trolling and go start a new thread to share all the acceptable reasons and concerns one is allowed to have when purchasing a Land Cruiser in 2024.

Stock Wheels - offset and bolt pattern?

14x1.5 is the answer I got from both Vossen and Method.

    Performance?

My point was it's not fair to say that all SUVs are slow. The LC is not fast (and no one expects it to be) but certainly we can all agree it would be helpful to know how not fast it is before we buy it.

    Performance?

That might be an over generalization. The Cayenne Turbo GT has the same Nurburgring time as the LFA.

Ceramic coating , and paint protection

It will be better than nothing, but I would just temper your expectations on how much protection it provides. It will definitely help the car appear cleaner as less things will stick to it. PPF has gotten a lot better over the past 10 years, and the current offerings from Xpel and Suntek won't...

Anyone looking to switch from LC to FE? (Colorado)

Kind of a long shot, but I have a Meteor Shower First Edition coming soon (currently sitting at port in LA) and am interested in switching to the Land Cruiser trim in either Underground or Meteor Shower. If anyone is looking to move the other way (LC to FE) maybe we can work out some kind of...

Ceramic coating , and paint protection

Ceramic coatings can vary, but any reputable place will first decontaminate the car and perform a stage 1 paint correction before the coating is applied. If they aren't doing this, run away as fast as you can. The prep and paint correction are actually most of what you are paying for, as the...

    Performance?

I'm guessing some people start with the mindset of "I have ~$70K, what are my options?". And sizewise the X5 is more comparable the LC.

    Performance?

No one expects the LC to be high performance, but there are plenty of options depending on what it is you are looking for. BMW, Porsche, Alfa, and MB have great on-road focused options. The upcoming Macan EV in particular is going to be amazing. The Bronco Raptor will go over anything you can...

    Performance?

Good point about CarWow. It still leaves the question about why no one has been allowed to post official times. I realize the point of this car isn't to be fast, but these outlets have review metrics in place so people can compare Apples to Apples. Toyota seems to be much more open handed with...

    Performance?

Both MotorTrend and Car & Driver have had access to the LC and were able to provide subjective feedback, but it seems they were not allowed by Toyota to publish any formal test results as recently as mid-April. The GX550 has been tested and came in with a 6.2s 0-60 time, and Car & Driver says...

    Tire Upgrade ?

Keep in mind tire sizes are nominal, and the actual diameter can vary a fair amount between models. For example, if you’re looking at the Wildpeak A/T4W the actual size of the LT265/70R18 and LT275/70R18 are both listed as 33.4”. The 265/70R18 (non-LT) is 32.6”, and LT285/70R18 jumps up to 34.0”.

    Adding/removing roof rails

I guess the big remaining question is whether or not the 1958 trims have the rail mounts hidden under the rubber strips.

    Adding/removing roof rails

On the current Sequoia it looks like it can all be done externally. Maybe the LC is similar?
