@FirstLC MPGs is one of my main reasons to lean towards the LC. I hope it is close to the EPA numbers. The GX Overtrail (non +) could be the best overall deal out there. I prefer the styling a little better on the LC especially the interior with physical controls.
My problem is the non refundable deposit, especially on a vehicle that most have never driven or even sat in. Especially on a popular model that you know someone else will be in line to buy.
This is a pretty good mostly POV video. At about 6:40 it Includes 0-60 times and a good drive thru the canyons. Watch the speed limit signs and the speedometer. He does say it's a 1958 off road but it is a LC LC model.
I saw that one Trail Dust with the Toyo Open Country tires. Looked good. Seems like all the regular LC 18" wheels and 1st Ed were the Michelin LTX Trail. The 1958 and 20" wheels were Bridgestone or Yokohama.
Quite a few dealers around me want a $1500 non refundable deposit. I didn't need to ask any more questions since most were still are asking $5 or more on 2024 4R TRD Pros.
Tail Dust became my favorite color when I saw it in person outside. And after realizing it's a metallic tan, not yellow. I still like Heritage Blue and Meteor Shower. I'm on the short list for the two tones.
They all come standard with Full Time 4WD and Center and Rear lockers. No Front locker. Front Sway Bar Disconnect on Mid and 1st Edition. Not sure about the ratio but it sounds reasonable.
No disrespect taken. I talked to a few 4Runner owners that have put them in the grill and they all said they haven't had any problems. But yes, I have wondered that also. The only thing I don't like is the offset look. I may just go with the standard location since it is not bad and the front...
I'm going to buy a silicon license plate holder (Amazon or Ebay) and mount it in the driver or passenger side lower grill with a legal tinted cover. A lot of built up 4Runners do that here and say they do not have any cooling problems. I'll probably get our states new black plates. Make sure you...
I think someone else and myself have posted these spreadsheets. I have been using them for almost a year tracking a 4Runner. Every once in a while, seemingly around the time Toyota releases it allocation list there seems to be a pause for up to a week. I do not know why. I have even sent a...
I think Toyota Newsroom made a mistake with the Full Time 4WD option. The reveal clearly shows the Limited with the non hybrid turbo with the FT4WD as standard with the 4 wheel drive option, same as now.. The Limited is also available with 2WD
Here are a couple of mostly White videos. You have to scan thru them because there are other colors, too. Second video is still shots. At least they are outside.
A/T, 3PMSF tires for sure. BFG KO3 or Falken A/T4W. I usually run BFG, not sure if I need a "C" load range. If I change wheels, either Tundra Pro wheels or some old school silver/ chrome just for fun., like I had on my Scout.
