All the dealers around here have multi-year wait lists, which I’ve seen myself.
Dealers have pricing, so if you want to know that just ask a dealer. It’s also been published around here somewhere too, the official docs from Toyota.
What’s the concern with the configurator in Canada? From what I’ve heard, it’s already sold out years in advance here, and the pricing has been published. Who cares about the build and price?
Magnificent! Those wheels on the Scout are exactly the vibe I’m looking for too.
Load range depends on how much towing and rock crawling you plan on doing. The more you’re going to do, the more you want to go load range E.
Something is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. No more, no less. A good deal is one that the buyer is happy with, whatever the price is.
I dunno. Seems like just plain old capitalism to me. Free market. An item is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. No more, no less. And right now there are wait lists a mile long at this price. So why wouldn't Toyota price it like this? Seems fair to me. Don't like it? Don't buy one.
Well that's too bad. But, to put this in perspective, the fuel economy rating on the LC is 10.4 l/100km (Canadian). That happens to be the same gas mileage I get on a Mazda CX-30 and a Mercedes C300 wagon, which also both use premium. So in that context, I think this is still pretty good, given...
Perhaps that was a factor in the conflict between the initial leaked fuel economy and the officially released number. It could be that the initial 27mpg was based on using premium and the revised 25mpg is based on regular.
I have a Mazda CX-30 Turbo that gets one set of power and fuel economy...

You can be happy with a car and still have problems with them. My wife's happy with her Tesla, even though I've found half a dozen build defects (in the first month).
Likely not before delivery. But shortly after. Aftermarket wheels and tires. Keeping it close to stock size so that the spare still fits underneath. Likely 275/70-18, which is a true 33.
Som retro wheels would be nice to go with the black and end up with a vintage look like:
Premium package for me. I don't want the 20's but I also don't care if they're there. I guess that's part of coming from the Jeep world. No one keeps their stock wheels. LOL.
I’m planning on a 275/70-R18. I ran a set of Duratracs in that size on my Jeep JK. True 33”. Nice mild size (for a Jeep). Handled well, and worked out great off-road. Tons of tire options. Only adds 0.3” to the sidewall and 0.2” width inboard. Should fit stock wheels and suspension just fine.
