Quick anecdotal evidence after 250 miles with a First Edition in the 8000 ish vin number. On the 150 mile drive home from the dealer mixed driving on highway and through town I averaged 19.9 mpg. Today running a few errands around town I'm seeing average trips in the 22mpg range. The trick I'm...
I'll get a picture taken this evening of the other side of the second knob. I lightly glued the other one in place last night so I can remove it in the future if I decide to try something different. It's the same shape as the back of the stock knob so it fits onto the semicircle post. It just...
I can confirm the knob fits but it does not snap into place. I’m going to put a little glue to hold it in place since I like how it looks. if you don’t want to do that, I would hold off to see if they make one specifically for the Land Cruiser
Got the call today I can pick up my vehicle on Monday. I'll post a picture once it's installed so you can see if you like the way it looks. Happy to sell you the other one in the set if you decide you like it at cost plus shipping. Shouldn't be expensive to mail since they are lightweight. I can...
Still waiting on the call from my dealer that it’s arrived. It’s been sitting at the rail yard. Seems like it’s been catching every delay imaginable…
It will fit. Same as the tactical one above.
I bought a pair and they arrived yesterday. Should finally pick up my LC this week and I’ll let you know if someone doesn’t answer before then. They are good quality and should fit since the RAV4 volume knob fits
Similar issues with Tundras over the past few years. Toyota strings them along telling them they are aware of the issue but nothing usually happens unless people get legal involved or really push the issue. Some people report having rotors and brake pads replaced fixes the squeak. Curious to...
You can watch Edmunds clip of the braking and fishtailing a bit in this clip if you haven't seen it. Should start playing right before the braking. If not, it's around the 15:55 second mark.
Easier option is to use your phone and if you subscribe to Spotify, Apple music etc there are several speaker test tracks/albums with various frequency response tones you can select.
Depending on where it’s stored, might not be a bad idea to use the app to remote start the engine a few times as long as it isn’t a hazard with the exhaust fumes. Just enough to warm the engine up so the pistons don’t sit idle for so long and get the oil flowing

Something people need to be aware of is how onX uses your data. Looks like onX is selling a lot of your data if that is important to you. GAIA...
Wind Noise Solution
The GX550 forum is recommending tying paracord around the leading rail to breakup wind noise. Not ideal but might be worth trying this if the noise is really bothersome. They report a big improvement in how loud it is.
Graphite. Have a Traildust LC coming in a few weeks and thought about the desert sand color but I think the graphite will look like it belongs in the interior better.
Ordered the 2020-2023 set of nobs. I’ll have an extra one in the Kansas City area if someone is interested in the second one, we could split the order.
If we didn't have to crawl under the vehicle to replace the oil filter, i would seriously consider getting and using one of these after the first couple of oil changes. The mityvac 7201 is a more compact design but seems to take quite a while to extract the oil. Impressive how little oil is left...
