LCLC 10-speaker doesn’t have those. It has 8-channels driven where two speakers are 2-way speakers (Toyota is kind of cheating by calling it a 10-speaker)
Time will tell if our Japanese built variants suffer the same fate. I’m coming off back to back U.S. built autos with powertrain failures in warranty. Sold both. Losing confidence in quality controls.
Toyota put what appears to be a disabled subwoofer in the lift gate on the 1958. Anyone try to activate it? I assume the wiring is there too. Likely requires amp.
I am looking to buy and have the same thought. I do feel good about the fact that Toyota is stepping up to own the issue with the tundra 3.5 announcing to replace all the motors. Not ideal, but better than other automakers.
I have been leaning toward the lowest LC trim mainly for the adjustable seats. 1) they are hard to find in the sub 64K range, and now 2) a local dealer is offering me a 1958 at what they claim in invoice pricing ($3.5K under TSRP).
