New Member, just picked up a 1958 in Meteor Shower with skid plates.

Very nice vehicle, MS was my color of choice, but ended up settling on a blk one.......if it ever gets here from QC in Portland.

Almost did the exact same, then this one fell in my lap.
 
She got tinted today. 15% Front driver/passenger, 30% on rears, 70% on back hatch. Now onto the wheels and tires....

That meteor shower is starting to grow on me. Congrats. Can you post a pic of your skid plates? Wondering if they are any different from what I have on my 1958...?

Im sure you can order those through Toyota. They were optioned on my window sticker: Front Skid Plate $440, Steel Skid Plate - Transmission $365.

I haven't picked mine up yet, but I had the predator steps put on, because it seems everyone I know is geting old. I'm hoping they're suffcient.
