BTW, in case anyone is interested, this is what I use:I do plus I take a couple of extra minutes to also attach magnetic foam half tube protectors to every door every time I park. I get some odd looks occasionally but I think it's helped avoid dings.
I had no idea that those were such a thing. I giggled then realized you were serious!
Oh wow! someone really invented and sales those stuffs
woah that’s pretty genius. I’d seen the body side moldings that Toyota makes but not these!
I’m so happy there are others like me out thereYou have to be somewhat discreet in your gawking as you walk away.
I have always parked my vehicles well away from others to avoid door dings. I’m constantly stunned at how careless people can be in parking lots. If I can’t park well away from others, I try to find end spots where I can snuggle the car up to the outside line/curb and leave a very large distance between the vehicles. When I parallel park, I also try to find end spots where I can position the car as far back or forward in the spot to leave as much room as possible for parallel parkers. My wife thinks I’m completely neurotic and can’t, for the life of her, understand why I stress about these types of issues. Oh well!
My wife must be related to yours…. She parks in narrow spaces between two cars and wonders why she has door dings.
