for those of us that didn't get the upgraded front and transmission skids with out builds, is it possible to only upgrade the front skid and not the rear skid ? assume if you did you'd need to remove the plastic "rear most" skid and just go without but I truly don't know.
thanks

DV8 Parts Releasing tonight 12am

Every engine skid comes either as two parts or as one part that covers the same area as the two parts. So, you may as well just remove the plastic shit and install the entire front skid. Youโ€™re paying the same price and installation is incredibly easy

Not sure that answers the OP's question, but you are certainly 'on it'! Do you work for DV8?
---------
As far as the 'rear' plastic skid, if I were wanting a front skid plate due to wanting to protect against potential damage from my use(s), I'd certainly want a proper skid over the rear, as well (the plastic is probably for aerodynamics as much as anything, it is not in any way robust). Whether you need anything beyond the OEM FE skids is up to you and how you use your vehicle.

I do not, but I had the opportunity to work with their R&D team. More parts to come!

Yes, you can install just the front skid plate. Mine came from the factory that way, I'm buying the transmission skid plate separately.

The engine skid plate looks like it mounts to the radiator bracket. I would avoid it if you don't want to bust your radiator and condenser.
