Just want to share my experience with others in case you are in the same situation as me. The wheels I wanted are back ordered until spring (ICON with 40mm offset) so I decided to go with the stock 18” x 7” wheels with 70mm offset.

I choose the K03 285/75R18 instead of the 285/70R18 because they are taller (35”) for the same price. I think if we choose the 285/70R18, it will fit at the spare tire location.

Everything fits incredibly well without any lift (except for the spare tire) but it’s TIGHT... Barely 10mm space from the suspension, torsion bar, inner fender stuff. If I forced the steering all the way, I can feel rubbing o there is some trimming to do. Landcruisers with stock 18” x 7.5” will have a little more offset

I remember when I had my 07’ FJ Cruiser and upgraded it with King shock and bigger tires, the company specialist told me that keeping the factory wheels is always the best because it do not change the vehicle dynamics. He was right about the FJ and it’s still tru with the Landcruiser. The ride quality is the same even if the tire is 3” taller and 2” larger!

Toyota did a great job by using the same platform as the Tundra for all their new truck/SUV and the proof is I have 35” tires in a stock suspension/wheel and it work!

Overall, I recommend going with the 285/70R18 to avoid any trim.

P.S. I like the fact that the tires are still inside the fenders so the mud will not spray all over the side of the vehicle.

Same here, but I went with the Nittos. I ordered some RRW wheels and they project delivery in February.

Did you experience rubbing? If yes, what did you do?
I have the slightest rub at full lock in reverse. I am not doing anything at the moment until I install my lift. After that, I may have to do some minor trimming but I would I imagine the lift will mitigate the issue, especially since the tires are 11.5 inches wide as opposed to 12.5

How does driving feel with this size? Any appreciable difference in engine feel?
The K03 are surprisingly quiet and since the tires are “LT” the handling is still very good. I lost about 2 mpg on fuel economy.

I can feel a little more hesitation after s stop but if you push the pedal harder, the electric motor step up and torque is doing the job.

I trimmed the frame as much as possible but still rubbing a little when reverse.
