Ready to scream. Prinsu pro roof rack

Thanks. I got it on.

What I did was remove the wind deflector (as recommended by a user here, thanks!) as well as the last cross bar so I was able to reach the knobs much easier. I used the crossbar second from the front, and I believe the 3rd bar in the back. Thanks to all who chipped in to help.💯🫶🏼
Ps only bad thing is that the prinsu handles are now covered by the tent so I’m unable to grab them. It’s always something right?
Spacer blocks and longer screws or have a welder add longer mounting plates with new holes would solve the handle issue.

The handle I installed on my Prinsu Pro might work better for you. They look like they might extend further out than the Prinsu ones and are hell of a lot cheaper and you can grab from underneath if you are desperate. The picture below shows where I have one installed on the last bar but I also have them installed on the side. That might be a challenge now that you have the RTT installed but it might be possible.

I'm waiting on these, being that they are Alum and bent easily if the angle needs to be adjusted.

Where did you get that handle?

I don't know if you've ever heard of these or if it would be an easier way to secure your clamps. I use them on my jigs and are a big time saver. I call them quick nuts and are basically a nut with 1/2 of the thread in the nut and a spring loaded pin with the other half of the threads. You push the pin and 1/2 of the threads disengage allowing you to slide the nut to the clamping surface, release the pin and the threads reengage and finish tightening with a wrench (normally 1-2 turns) I've never had one come loose.

Wish I’d known about these! Problem solved! 👍🏼
