Has anybody thought about captains chairs in the 2nd row like the GX 550?

It would be ok, if you had a third row… but missing another seat option.. would keep me from pulling that trigger

I think that captains chairs second row would be cool. Do we have any reason to believe the ones from the GX 550 would fit? Do they have similar mounting points? Do they have a similar tumble-forward function? Or is it more of, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if Toyota did this?"
Since I don't have a GX 550 to play with, I can't check it. If anybody in/near Boulder County does and wants to compare, I'd be happy to!

Looks like the "tumble" feature is a "yes". Still unclear on the mounting points, though. I'm not sure how to look that up, since strangely Toyota doesn't think it's something enquiring minds would want to know.
