I know that water crossing (I think) - opens up a lot of country. Of course much of that country is bear country! Nice photos - Good looking truck!
 
That looks like just a beautiful place to visit! & so close out. Is there a fair bit of area you can explore with just gravel roads out that way? Or was everything you posted after the more challenging section with the water crossing? Iโ€™m not a huge off roader, particularly when driving myself (with the dog, but sheโ€™s no help), but what I have ridden along on shows things are usually more challenging than they look in pics. So for me exploring is great, but so is getting home without help.

All of these photos were taken before the water picture, which was maybe a 1/2 km from marker 39. The paths are well defined as well!
