I’ve been reading you for almost a year and I am now making my intro after 2 months of ownership.
I ordered the LC soon after my 2021 Highlander was stolen near montreal, in november 2023. Had to wait until july-august 2024 to get it.
I just read the thread about the stolen LC and my case was pretty similar, I was in a hotel for a formation and the second morning of formation, the Highlander was gone. The window was broken and the car was probably started through the OBD2 port since the keys were with me in my hotel room. They can start the car in a minute just with a device plugged in the OBD2 port and it is mostly what they use arround here. I have not heard about stolen vehicule being towed arround here, they usually duplicate keys or break a window.
Happy of my FE for now! Will get device to help prevent from basic thief and stay out of big cities as much as I can!
P.S. I have a set of wheels from a Highlander 2021 limited for sale! He was on the winter setup when he disappeared
