Anyone put window deflectors on their LC? If so, which ones did you get? I have a dog and in my 100 series LC I could crack open the back panel window if I needed to leave my dog in the car when it was raining so my car wouldn’t smell too ripe. The new LC doesn’t have that ability so was thinking about getting the window deflectors to allow some ventilation. I’m looking for the channel set ones because I’ve had them on other cars in the past and don’t like the adhesive ones.

Also if you have pics with them on, I’d love to see what your LC looks like with them on.

These insertion type of deflector gets in the way when the motor push the glass up. Last time I installed them they messed up my window particularly in cold days. I would much prefer the adhesive ones, particularly LC has a nice flat surface outside the window for the adhesive to bond properly with the plastics.

They came on my vehicle, didn’t really want them but as the only add on, couldn’t complain. Not sure what I think of them yet, they are the Toyota branded ones.

My LC had the OEM ones already installed..I like the retro look. I’m no expert on window vents, are these stick ons or in-channel? They look like they’re stuck on

Dealers just add on some extra items to make money off of them. Some of them expensive and unnecessary, sometimes useful.

I checked with the dealer and they told me they couldn't find this in the system. Do you know what is the part number in Canada? Getting it from Canada is at least better than from Japan

I just pulled out my paperwork to have a look and all it says is 'side window deflector' ($269 CAD) with no part numbers, unfortunately. I'm assuming its an OEM item as it has TOYOTA stamped on it and it shows as an option when building an LC on Toyota.ca site

EDIT
@mountaindesert @Marinna

Its bugging me now as I can't find any information online, so I called my dealership. It comes in a kit that contains all 4 pieces, hope this helps:

Part number 08162-60840

Side Window Deflectors

I actually check the part number you provided. I ordered in two separate places and both of them told me the part is out of stock with no ETA. Most other vendors doesn't even have this number. I suspect this was a part from different vehicle (or JDM part number) that somehow it is just not a valid number for J250

Very odd. I’m in Canada and that’s the number the parts counter gave me 🤔

For me they are a necessity as I camp inside my vehicle and need ventilation especially when it’s raining. Been waiting for WeatherTech to make the in channel version, so far nothing available. I worry the stick on versions will leave residue if you ever remove them. I combine the deflectors with custom made screens mounted on the inside with magnetic strips which work beautifully to keep mosquitoes out.

Maybe I should called the dealership in Canada to order one and pickup later myself. Lol

I’m in Seattle and thinking of calling a dealership in Vancouver or Richmond to verify part number and fit and if I can pick it up. It’s a little over 2 hour drive for me but can get other things in Canada, they I can’t get here in states while I’m there.

I clocked in link you provided but never heard of of online store. I’m paranoid about getting scammed.

Me too. Love to see your setup. Do you have a flat cargo area? If so, did you buy it or make it yourself?

Also, what rain deflectors are you using? I'm also waiting for WeatherTech come out with a land Cruiser version.

I used the link and part number listed in post #10 above.
I decided to order one from EBay. Not gonna be official Toyota part but this is not a high tech just correct molding that is all it takes. I bet the cost making one of these are like $5. A bit ridiculous to ask $300~$500 just for a set of visor
