Hi All,

We are Solid Wood Worx and we make dual drawer systems/ sleep extensions! We have recently released a new PreCut Kit for the Land Cruiser. This kit is designed specifically for Toyota Land Cruiser 250 model 2024+. See photos attached. More info on our website: Land Cruiser PreCut Kit

Our kit features two 39” slide-out drawers equipped with heavy-duty 250lb-rated, lock-in/lock-out drawer slides. Each 5” deep drawer includes two removable dividers, helping you keep your gear organized and secure for any adventure. Customize your setup with three available false top options, transforming your drawers into a convenient cooking surface or workspace – perfect for road trips or camping. Weighing just 130lbs with the optional bed extension, this system is robust yet easy to handle. The bed extension is removable in under a minute, allowing you to access the second row of seats without hassle. Crafted from high-quality, Hex-ply exterior birch core wood and precision CNC-cut, this kit ensures a smooth and stress-free building process. Shipped flat-packed with all the necessary precut wood pieces and hardware, you’ll be able to assemble your drawer system in 1-2 hours. Do you have a version with deeper drawers? I'm interested in p[utting in a Dometic CD30 fridge in one of them.
 
I'm talking with SWW to see if they can make a version with a deeper/Taller drawer, one that can fit a Dometic CD30. Would anyone else be interested in that? If so, please chime in so they can gauge interest. Thanks!
 
Today I drove down to San Diego to check the Bed & Drawer system at Solid Worx. Below is my pro and con observations.

Pro:
Clean shop and very
organized.
Nice people.
Product well made.

Con:
Losing 50% of factory storage, which is all the front storage under the rear seat.
Drawers are only 4” deep.
Will not modify at this time.

Next, I will see what SEMA produces for the LandCruiser, Nov 5-8 in Las Vegas.

I’ve got their system installed. Just spent the long weekend in the High Sierras and slept using the bed platform. This setup is perfect for me…losing the rear seat storage cubbies was more than made up for by the drawer system for my needs.

I was under the impression the design still allowed access to the cubbies both next to the rear hatch and right behind the rear seats. Is the long cubby behind the rear seats not accessible?

The one behind the rear seats is not, but the two behind the rear hatch are fully accessible.

We can make the storage behind 2nd row accessible still just would require cutting the carpet out of your Landcruiser to stock mat to add an additional piece.
 
Do your DIY plans for the LC include instructions/templates for cutting the black matting on the top and front?

For the forward storage bin, could it be accessed without modifications if the drawers are out and the seats folded forward?

Yes we are addressing this as well in the deeper kit
 
Do you guys offer or plan to offer an option to only have the kit on one side? My ideal situation personally would be to do your kit (including the bed extension) only on the passenger side. That would leave the smaller side as is and available for taller things or my case a better arrangement for my dog. I realize I may be in the minority or that it's just not cost effective you guys to offer multiple layouts but thought I'd check.
