Hi Everyone,
It's been about 2 weeks since we took home our 1958 in ice cap. In that time, I had the tint done (ceramic, 15%) put on OE running boards (thank you Julia!) and the wheels just arrived today.

Work Meister S1 SUV
18x9 +18 offset, bronze finish
claimed weight: 24 pounds (will weigh it before i have the tires mounted)

I will be running 275/70r18 tires, no lift or any other mods planned at this time.

I'm new to the SUV/truck world. Luckily, a buddy of mine who's into the 4x4 game for years suggested i call his friend who owns MJ Motorsports in Hawaii (mjmotorsports808.com). After 30-40 minutes of talking and countless hours of looking at their Instagram account (the Rays Gram Lights were a little too aggressive for me), I found a few options. I ended up with these Work S1's because I've always wanted this style wheel for my ae86 corolla back in the day, but really no way of getting them from Japan. Took only a few days to get to me in Vegas. I understand his distributors are mostly in the mainland, so easy access for me.

Anyways, I will be updating this post once the tires are installed this Saturday (hopefully discount tire gets my tires in on time).

For now, a preview of the wheels out of the box, before ceramic coating...

The tires arrived and got installed at the local Discount Tire here in Las Vegas.
I went with the General Grabber APT in 275/70r18 since we're going to use this 95% on paved roads. There is some poke, but the tread ges tucked in towards the top. Driven this about 40 miles today, and so far so good. a little bit bouncy. I will check the pressures tomorrow morning when cold.
