For those of yall that have replaced the spare with a larger tire, what sizes are yall able to cram in there? I'm thinking of putting 285/65/18 Wildpeaks in there, on the stock Tundra TRD Pro wheel. Anyone got sizes that are close?

Saw that, created this thread so other people can add their larger sizes as well, and itโll be easier to search in the forum!
If enough people report, Iโll add it in the OP or link to a google sheet with that info.I'd love to have a huge table of tire sizes (and brands) with "fits in the spare location" and "doesn't rub at full turn" and "doesn't rub at full flex" (with and without swayer disconnect).
I saw in another post that the B.F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 275/70R18 "barely fits" in the spare location. If enough people report, Iโll add it in the OP or link to a google sheet with that info.
I also saw a larger table someone posted before with info for many more tires but I can't find it any longer! If anyone can point me to it, please do.
That's it, thanks! And those are all the manufacturer's diameters? Not sure if you're referring to my post, it has a column for actual diameter if you know what the max is for the spare spot:
Tire Upgrade ?
Here are a few more shots from this mornings test fitting. Looking good but.... do you plan to use them as they are ? The gap is way too low for any car.www.landcruiserforum.com
Yes, I used the manufacturerโs websites to get the specs. Would be worth a double check before actually buying a tire. That's it, thanks! And those are all the manufacturer's diameters?
Update: was concerned tire too close to muffler and potential of catching So switched the wheel chain mechanism side to pull/release from driverโs to passenger's side. Made a big difference in space (3") between spare and muffler (Note: bar will turn in opposite directions to lift or lower spare). You'll need to pry open last link/frame lip holder to release chain (pry part of hammer and mallet) then feed it with a needle nose. Requires 2 ppl. Also used a bungee cord to mitigate chain rattleI placed 275/70/r18 Toyos AT3s (33s) and bought a cheaper Corsa AT for the spare. Confirmed the spare did fit, but Iโm a little concerned even though it sits up higher than the clearance of the rear differential of potential drag while OR. Maybe thereโs a narrower 33 AT out there for the spare or just go out there โas isโ and not worryโฆ
Shopping wheels and spare fitment is a serious consideration. Ran across this. Not sure what they are doing under there (moving it to the side?) but that 34.8" tire is hanging way down and does not look good and presents functionality problems as well.
I am considering options for better fitment by deflating the spare (will have air obviously). Or I am considering just running a mismatched spare to limp out/limp to tire store if necessary.
