Test fit 6.5 foot awning with some custom brackets. Works great and silent on the interstate. More accessories to be installed soon for an overland trip to CO. Pelican cargo box, jerry can and Waterport tank. Will post here.

Looks great. What light kit is that on the lower grill?
Did you hard wire to the battery or a different setup?
I modified my prev 3g tundra hidden bumper bracket from baja to fit. And it’s all wired to my switch pro.
Options
Easier setup and storage. Also less chance for an animal to bother you.
I am not sure I agree with that logic of storage and setup , I am thinking that it takes up the roof rack got to haul a ladder to get in and out and in the middle of night if you gotta go its an acrobatic maneuver to get to ground .
The animal part ?
I am just stating why some people may prefer them. I do not have one and cannot see myself getting one.

It is good for people who like to eat Snickers in the tent. Favorite bear snack as well.
I believe it’s for a lot of the hey look at me crowd . I got a Land Cruiser and set to travel the most remote areas . I grew up in the big city and this is what always wanted to be known as an outdoors person .
