Snorkels aren’t necessarily for water. They are not watertight. They are for cleaner air intake above the dust cloud produced by vehicles you’re following on trails.
How much water can they go through?

Reminds my of the old “if you don’t know, don’t go” thing beaten into my head learning to drive through the regular flooding in southeast TX.

Whenever they break out this thing, I know it’s too deep for me. But sometimes you gotta push the limits to get to where you gotta go.
Oh my gosh! Brand new $90K vehicle. That's too much to wrap my head around.
Saw this posted in the thread. I still wouldn't want to buy it after seeing the pictures. Probably mostly fine but I would be changing the differential fluid.
