License Plates - Options and Frames

Haven’t seen many posts on custom plates or license plate frames so I figured I’d start a thread. For WA residents, it looks like there may be a black plate option coming in October.

I’ll likely stick with a NP mountain plate with black surround until then.

Unfortunately we don’t get all the cool CA and TX options..

That black one looks pretty awesome. I have those same rubber frames on mine and they work great.
 
First of all, thank you for this post, because despite all the teasing from my friends and family I now know I am not alone in spending headspace on this "dilemma." :)

You can't go wrong with either plate, those are both classy. I too am from WA and am considering the black LeMay museum plate or ..... because I am a truck gal, might try and go a little more feminine with the state flower plate.

Based on these posts, I went and got a set of those black frames while oscillating back and forth on my plate choice and patiently waiting for my 1958 model. That is a great idea.

Nice. I like the black plate. I will go for that one.
 
And trying to look up a frame I came across this and I’m super confused. It’s like a tiny bumper for your license plate?

Interesting this black plate
I’m definitely interested.
I like the mt rainier in the background of the standard plate, but I never cared for the blueish white color.
Hope it make to motorcycles too
Will look awesome in a black bike
 
These are the ones I use here. We have very few options other than standard here, but this one is worth buying. No customization options though, they’re just issued sequentially.
